An awsome comment from Bill Burnett, the News and Record's attack dog, and my response

"George, Socrates was a wise man, because he knew that he knew so little.

You're no Socrates, George."

Bill Burnett
.
.
William Safire on a Straw Man argument like the one you just wrote Bill; “Here’s the trick. Take your opponent’s argument to a ridiculous extreme, and then attack the extremists.”

Here's Barack Obama doing the same; “There are those who say these plans are too ambitious, that we should be trying to do less, not more. Well, I say our challenges are too large to ignore.”
Or Richard Bruce Cheney; “People who consistently distort the truth, …are in no position to lecture anyone about values.”

Or are you using a Lloyd Bentsen ripoff?: "Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."

Either way, you didn't say anything of substance once again.

Let's go for three!
