Guarino Question III: What actions do you believe are necessary to correct the wrongs our city government committed during late 2005 and thereafter with its response to the Police Department controversy?

The police department issue is racially divisive. 

 

I believe we need to resolve any outstanding issues as soon as possible, to revive a positive impression of Greensboro to businesses with good paying jobs that will be looking to relocate away from higher taxes, crime and debt in places like California and Florida. 

 

Not fixing the GPD ASAP is not in the best interests of the city’s children.
