Mujeeb's Job Description

Mujeeb doesn't work for City of Greensboro taxpayers.

Mujeeb works for city council, the city manager etc...

Mujeeb works at the discretion of City Council, so if City Council tells Mujeeb to do X, that's his job, even if it's the wrong thing to do.

I'm not blaming Mujeeb.

I am blaming City Council for perverting the office of the city attorney by enacting direct control.

It didn't used to be like this.

The city manager was a Greensboro Partnership lobbyist.

The new Economic Development Director was a Greensboro Partnership lobbyist.

The city is splitting the costs of our DC lobbyist, of whom Robbie received campaign donations from his parents beforehand, with the Greensboro Partnership.

Some at the Greensboro Partnership indirectly run the City of Greensboro, for their own personal financial benefit.

We will not achieve positive economic growth with a crony capitalist rent seeking regime in place, because businesses looking to expand or relocate don't want to grease the hands that control our government.

We do not have a level playing field to present to entrepreneurs looking for opportunity.
