Is the delivery of consumers or voters to merchants and politicians,
the objective of for-profit mass media?
Should news stories conceal correlations to advertiser or parent company profit?
Does freedom of the press include what advertisers object to?
Why would some mainstream media personalities criticize some, while receiving undisclosed and/or indirect compensation from others interested in non-attributed dissention?
Is it more profitable for news outlets to report inexpensive solutions or who may be better political candidates or relatively expensive answers or espoused by advertisers or campaigns with more money to spend on mass media commercials?
It is difficult to get a man to understand something,
when his salary depends on his not understanding it.
Upton Sinclair
