If Bernard Madoff

charged investment fees while almost always reporting fraudulent gains

and distributed money received from new to older investors for years

until withdrawal requests exceeded inflows

could some Stable Value Accounts in Qualified Retirement plans

which charge relatively high fees

and are not obligated to disclose current investment values

and may report relatively higher returns than comparable vehicles

be the same as what Mr Madoff did, only different?
