Former City Council Candidate Alex Seymour on Roy Carroll

"Mr. Carroll's comments about fellow American citizens and his neighbors in the extremely poor and not that safe neighborhoods ringing downtown are par for the course.

He hates people that want to be where it is well lit and there are police on the scene to prevent the murders that happen all the time in the same neighborhoods not far from Roys throneroom.

Our freedoms do not end when Roy is ready to go to bed. Our freedom to be, to assemble, to speak, and express ourselves should never be limited. To pose the problem as only minors being downtown is absurd and how do you distinguish between a 20 and a 17 year old, without detaining and demanding our papers.

And to say they are no places open that sell to teens that is not true, just ask the HOT DOG men."
