On Greensboro's Saturday night self inflicted "riot"; The communities' teens were invited downtown

As Billy Jones reported; "It seems the reasons for Mayor Perkins' proposed downtown curfew may be of his own making. Last Saturday night, Downtown Greensboro Inc invited teens to their free Summer Night Lights (SNL) Movie Night  from 7-11 pm at Festival Park, 200 N. Davie St., in Downtown Greensboro."
.
.
It seems as though the City of Greensboro organized and marketed a free event in downtown Greensboro, after which a series of unfortunate, less than well controlled events occurred, which seem to have concluded in some proposals for a ban/curfew/#chittybangbang scenario on all teens in downtown Greensboro.

Saturday Night Lights, Date: 8/18/2012 8:30 PM - 11:30 PM Cost: Free
Location: Greensboro Cultural Center
200 N. Davie. St.
Greensboro, North Carolina

This is a summertime social, arts and vocational event for youth ages 13-18 that allows them to spend an evening in downtown Greensboro, socialize with friends, and dance to the latest DJ hits. In addition, teens can participate in mini-classes for pottery, African drumming, Hip Hop, and stand-up comedy, and enjoy a showing of the Spoken Word poetry documentary called “Louder than a Bomb.”

And on July 27th;

Some may want to calm down before they emotionally act on some incomplete information, without thinking through what the best options are, as opposed to submissively voting for what some campaign contributors want, at the expense of many who can't afford to buy themselves votes.
