Can a capitalistic democracy prevent failure of private enterprise?

We hold these truths to be self-evident


…unalienable rights…life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness


…That to secure these rights, governments are instituted...

If a government was created protect liberty, life and happiness,


is a government that prioritizes other goals,


like protecting financial fortunes of a few,


a domestic enemy?


 


We the People of the United States,


in Order to form a more perfect Union,


 establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility,


 provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare,


and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,


do ordain and establish


 this Constitution for the United States of America.
