"DH Griffin says they will begin demolition of the Greensboro Inn"

David Parrish, Assistant City Manager tells WFMY News 2 Friday the inn will be the first of the structures to be demolished to make way for the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts site development.

Parrish says the demolition is expected to take three to four weeks.

Who's paying, the city or the private money?

Was the contract put out for bid?

Isn't the project on hold, as there is no guarantee of the $35 million in place yet?

No ownership agreement.

No non profit structure in place.

I suppose the Inn needs to come down anyway and it is a potential homeless camp.
