Questions on Greensboro Coliseum Matt Brown's non-city council voted on deal with Wake Forest

"[Wake Forest’s athletics director] Wellman said university officials envision the area becoming an entertainment destination for the region.

GH; That will take away business from Greensboro's "entertainment destination" by those running the Coliseum for Greensboro's taxpayers?

Wellman and Brown said they don’t see Greensboro’s entertainment venues as being in competition with Winston-Salem’s.

Bullshit.

The agreement between Greensboro and the university says that “all financial deals will need to be risk-free” for the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The agreement also indicates that any joint operations will protect Greensboro’s ticket revenue.

If there are deals that involve risk, and they all have to happen in Greensboro, how will Wake Forest not benefit from offering only "risk-free" deals, as Greensboro taxpayers end up with a lopsided number of more risky ventures?

...Greensboro doesn’t plan to hire new staff because of the agreement, said City Manager Denise Turner Roth.

If Greensboro doesn't hire more employees, how does Greensboro not lose out by not having our employees working at the Coliseum?

Or do we have too many employees being paid to do less than has been known to the public?

The university will reimburse Greensboro at an hourly rate for the time of any city staff member — except Brown and his deputy — who works a Winston-Salem event."

How are Brown and his deputy being compensated?

I believe this deal harms Greensboro.

This looks like Matt Brown betrayed his fiduciary responsibilities to Greensboro's taxpayers.

Maybe Matt should work for Wake Forest full time.

Here's another picture of Robbie Perkins and Winston mayor Joines screwing Greensboro's taxpayers;
