My first memory was watching my mom, wearing what must have been late 1960's outfit of tight polyester solid pants with a flowery looking colorful top, steaming mad and crossing our street to confront the parents of a kid up the street. He "stole"? my toy. It was a little motorcycle type thing that got revved up by inserting and then pulling out a long plastic rod with teeth.
